New Jacky Tsai Prints in Situ at Shanghai Tang Launch, Hong Kong

Here are the works we recently printed in the studio for Jacky Tsai at the launch last week of his new range for clothing brand Shanghai Tang in Hong Kong.  Jacky currently has a solo show of works with Scream Gallery in London so please go and check it out before the 20th June.

Introducing the first glimpse of a range of experimental work by contemporary Chinese artist Jacky Tsai. Jacky has three upcoming shows in May and we have been collaborating in creating unique screen print works for each. The images above show 2 works, 'Floral Play' and 'Ginger Flower', which will be shown in Hong Kong, as well as the beginning of a third piece named 'Chairman Mao' which will be shown at Scream Gallery in London. There will also be a third display of paper prints through Eyestorm gallery in Singapore, watch this space.

Russell Marshall collaborates with The Men They Couldn't Hang

We have recently printed a new edition with Russell Marshall working alongside British Folk Pop group The Men They Couldn't Hang. The print is raising funds for their 30th anniversary album campaign and will be signed by the band as well as Russell himself. Drift Collective, 5th Base Gallery

Over the past week we have been working on a collection of new prints for Drift London for a new exhibition organised by 5th Base Gallery.  Drift is a collective of London based Artists, Illustrators and Designers and their new show 'Half-Tone Heroes' brings together the work of Craig Keenan, Ben Rider and Raiph Vaughan.

The exhibition runs through the whole Easter weekend and is open daily from 12 till 6pm at 5th Base Gallery, 23 Heneage Street (Off Brick Lane), London, E1 5LJ.  Jealous will be live printing the works at the opening this Thursday, the 17th April from 6pm.

Dave White in the Studio

This week we have had Dave White in the studio working on his exciting new screen print edition.

The print will consist of at least 10 colours with a varnish and a special few will be finished with a diamond dust overlay. The finished pieces can be seen at the Gusford Gallery in Los Angeles on the May 2nd. Check out this review by the Independent.

Robin Duttson In The Studio

This week Robin Duttson has returned to the studio to work on a new edition. The print will eventually be a 12 coloured screen print and above are some images of the work in progress. Robin draws from life in his own orchard in Devon, something we are all very jealous of here! We'll be sure to keep you posted.

Angie Lewin Proofing A New Edition For The Towner Gallery, Eastbourne

We welcomed one of our favourite artists back in to the Jealous Studio last week.  Angie Lewin worked with our master printer Matthew Rich proofing her fantastic new print for the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne.  Angie is part of a group show opening at the gallery later this year, which we will post details about nearer the opening.
