Robin Duttson In The Studio

This week Robin Duttson has returned to the studio to work on a new edition. The print will eventually be a 12 coloured screen print and above are some images of the work in progress. Robin draws from life in his own orchard in Devon, something we are all very jealous of here! We'll be sure to keep you posted.

Angie Lewin Proofing A New Edition For The Towner Gallery, Eastbourne

We welcomed one of our favourite artists back in to the Jealous Studio last week.  Angie Lewin worked with our master printer Matthew Rich proofing her fantastic new print for the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne.  Angie is part of a group show opening at the gallery later this year, which we will post details about nearer the opening.

Rowan Newton New Edition

This week we have had the lovely Rowan Newton in the studio working on his latest edition. Rowan gold leafed on to a printed background by hand (making each one individual) and finished with a two colour screen print overlay and a gloss. This print will form part of a collection of 4 prints, the first of which has sold out. They will all be the same size and finished with various enhancements.

Live Printing at The Saatchi Gallery, London

 

On Tuesday night we had a fantastic opening event at the Saatchi Gallery, London for our Jealous Prize exhibition.  As part of the private view we worked with Nicola Thomas on a live print which was editioned throughout the evening.  Here are some pictures of the team in action.  The exhibition runs until the 30th March and showcases this year's winning prints alongside a selection of our favourites from previous years.  The live print by Nicola Thomas and the other 2013/2014 prints are also available from the Saatchi Gallery store here.

Bran Symondson in 'Stations of The Cross' Exhibition

 

We have just completed the printing of a new work from artist and photographer Bran Symondson. The group show opens on Thursday evening with details on the invitation above.

Anthony Burrill In The Studio

We were delighted to launch a new edition with Anthony Burrill at Art 14 last week.  Entitled Michelle Plays Ping Pong, it was a 9 colour screen print with a 10th layer ink gradient on Somerset 410 gsm Tub Sized paper.  Here are some images during proofing with Anthony last month in the studio.  The print can be bought from the Jealous Gallery.

Jealous had a great time at Art 14 in Olympia last week.  It was fantastic to showcase the new editions we have been completing in the studio over the last few months.  Here are some shots from the opening night for your enjoyment.  Thanks to Joss Fenn for these images.

Tez Double Print Drop

We have recently finished two editions with artist Tez. Living and working in London he creates murals, canvasses and prints with geometric maze-like shapes allowing for unique interactions between art and its audience. They are 4 colour screen prints on Somerset satin 300 gsm paper with fluorescent highlight colours of green and pink.
