Charlie Billingham and Nicola Thomas Proofing

Charlie Billingham, a Jealous print prize winner from the Royal Academy of Fine Art has been in the studio working on his imagery for what promises to be an exciting print edition. He is using True Grain to stay true to his painterly style without the use of any digital process.

 

Nicola Thomas, a Jealous print prize winner from the Royal College of Art has also been in to work on her imagery. Flocking will be used to create a luxurious print. All graduate prints will be launched at Art 14 in Olympia on February 28th.

Trevor Abbott In The Studio

This week we have had Trevor Abbott, winner of the Jealous Print Prize from Camberwell School of Art, in the studio. The print is still being proofed with these photos providing a sneak peak of his edition.

Magda Archer New Print

We have had the lovely Magda Archer return to the studio today to proof her new work 'You're Not My Friend' with our print team.  Here are a few photographs of the piece taking shape during the day.

Jealous Print Studio in Garageland Magazine

Jealous Print Studio features in the new issue of the very cool Garareland arts magazine collated by Transition Gallery. You can get a copy here or alternatively join them at the launch of the publication at their gallery in Regents Studios tomorrow evening (Friday the 10th) on Andrews Road, E8.  This week our master printer Matthew Rich has been screen printing large scale versions of pages from the magazine for install in the space for the launch.  Images of the exhibition can be viewed here.

Three Days of Kate Gibb Proofing

We have had great fun proofing the new Mick Jagger screen print by Kate Gibb over the last few days.  Here are the results which will all be available as unique proofs from our stand at the London Art Fair next week.  

Teo Ormond-Skeaping Proofing

This week we have also begun proofing Teo Ormond-Skeaping's print edition. Teo is the 2013 Jealous graduate prize winner from the Slade School of Art and his print will consist of 7 layers which will gradually form a lunar landscape. This print will be accompanied by a smaller image of a figure connected to the piece.

Sean Penlington In The Studio

This week we have had Sean Penlington, the 2013 Jealous graduate prize winner from Chelsea School of Fine Art, in the studio.
